"Today's International Day of Women and Girls in Science is a superb opportunity to think about how we can support girls in developing their talent so that they can become successful scientists. The key is to create an environment as early as primary and secondary school in which all children are led towards curiosity and a desire to discover," says Monika Vondráková, director of the Neuron Foundation, which supports Czech scientists.
