The summer camps Neuron supports in 2026

Curious questions, debates, experiments. A love of knowledge is born early in life. That is why Nadace Neuron has long supported science camps, where enthusiastic talents meet and lifelong friendships are born — with people and with science. The summer of 2026 will be no different: young students will gather in the Vysočina region, in the foothills of the Iron Mountains and at Velehrad to talk about physics, biology, chemistry and mathematics, and about how to develop an enterprising spirit.

The Výfuk summer camp 2026

Dates: 26 July – 8 August 2026
Place: Panenská Rozsíčka in the Vysočina region
For: those interested in physics, lower-secondary pupils (about 30 participants)

The camp, under the patronage of the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics of Charles University, proves again and again that science and fun go hand in hand. Besides wonderful lectures and experiments, the participants enjoy classic camp activities, trips and night-time adventures and games. This year the camp takes place at the turn of July and August in the village of Panenská Rozsíčka near Třešť in the Vysočina region. Nadace Neuron and the IOCB Foundation are among the main partners of this camp, where future scientists are born.

Science Camp 2026

Dates: 25 July – 1 August 2026
Place: Běstvina in the foothills of the Iron Mountains
For: those interested in the natural sciences, secondary-school students (about 65 participants)

In the foothills of the Iron Mountains, in the village of Běstvina near Pardubice, another traditional camp will take place, run under the auspices of the Faculty of Nuclear Sciences and Physical Engineering of the Czech Technical University together with the Faculty of Science of Charles University. Science Camp is for secondary-school students who are not yet sure whether they enjoy biology, chemistry or physics more… With friends, in six teams, they will find out — and this year the programme is tied together by the theme of the universe. What can you expect at the camp? Experiments, lectures — and of course games and fun.

The summer enterprise camp 2026

Dates: 23 – 28 August 2026
Place: Velehrad near Uherské Hradiště
For: those interested in business, aged 16 to 24

At the end of the holidays, young hopefuls whose ambitions point towards business or science transfer will also gather at Velehrad near Uherské Hradiště. The enterprise camp, run by Neuron together with Můžeš podnikat, speaks to young people with ideas or scientific projects they want to "sell" to the world. There they get the chance to meet the right people and to learn to think in an enterprising way. Because it is not enough to come up with a good idea; you have to be able to develop it, present it and get it out to people.
