Václav Knapp on the Neuron Foundation internship at Berkeley

Getting to UC Berkeley is an achievement. Getting there while still at secondary school is exceptional. Václav Knapp managed it.

Václav is a participant in a Neuron Foundation internship and is one of the great talents in the field of artificial intelligence. In a conversation with our director Monika Vondráková he shares the key insight he brought back from the USA.

Outstanding science is not only about data and laboratories but above all about people. "In science, contacts are perhaps even more important than research, or on the same level," is how Václav rates his experience.
