"Easing the restrictions: how not to get it wrong!"

We invite you to the last part of our trilogy about the pandemic. Together we will try to understand what the new "normal" will look like. You will learn how pandemics accelerate social change, what the latest recommendations are and whether there is anyone we can take inspiration from.
We will look at which measures are useful and will remain in place in the future (value for money), and what to avoid. And also at how each of us can contribute to coming through the whole situation successfully.

the historian Jakub Rákosník
Doc. PhDr. et JUDr. Jakub Rákosník, PhD. is a Neuron Award laureate for young scientists in the field of social sciences. He specialises in the economic and social history of the 19th and 20th centuries. He works at the Faculty of Arts of Charles University.
the risk researcher Jan Kulveit
The mathematician Mgr. Jan Kulveit, PhD. works on modelling complex interacting systems and strategies influencing the long-term future. He works at the Future of Humanity Institute at the University of Oxford.
the economist Danuše Nerudová
Prof. Ing. Danuše Nerudová, PhD., professor and rector of Mendel University in Brno. Alongside economic topics she also works on questions of equal standing for men and women and regularly comments on the sustainability of the pension system.
the doctor Petr Smejkal
MUDr. Petr Smejkal has long worked in internal and infectious medicine; he currently works at IKEM in Prague as chief epidemiologist and, since 2008, also in the USA on the coast of Maine at Maine Coast Memorial Hospital.
The debate will be guided by the chair of the Scientific Board of the Neuron Endowment Fund prof. Jan Konvalinka and Monika Vondráková, co-founder of the Neuron Endowment Fund.
