"Reserve your place: a debate with the Neuron Award laureates on 29 September"

Come to a meeting with the new Neuron Award laureates, who will introduce themselves on Wednesday 29 September at the Opero hub in Prague. The host will be, as usual, Ondřej Cihlář, and the debate begins at 6:30 p.m. Please reserve your place with us in advance at rsvp@nfneuron.cz.

"I am glad that after a year's break we will meet the laureates, our supporters and friends of science in person. They are always interesting encounters in which, thanks to clever questions, the scientists reveal themselves as ordinary people — but with unique stories and scientific achievements. Our laureates appreciate the debates too; for them it is discussion-based contact with the public," says Monika Vondráková, chair of the administrative board of the Neuron Endowment Fund.

We will not reveal the laureates' names until the gala evening. But we can already say that they include people solving fundamental mathematical problems, physicists and chemists whose work reaches into artificial intelligence, and doctors working on eradicating diseases of civilisation.
