Marek Vašíček

Marek Vašíček is the co-founder and CTO of FTMO, the modern Czech prop platform that helps people
around the world earn through simulated trading. At FTMO he looks after the company's entire
technical backbone. In the early days he was involved in a whole range of internal processes; now he
focuses on connecting IT, trading and business within the technical teams he leads.

Marek Vašíček holds the title of technology entrepreneur of the year 2022. FTMO regularly takes
first place in Deloitte's ranking of the fastest-growing companies and appears on the list of the
most valuable companies in the Czech Republic. It collects further awards abroad as well.

While studying at the Prague University of Economics and Business he also worked at the brokerage
firm BOSSA, in both sales and customer support. That gave him a great deal of valuable knowledge of
trading, which he now applies at FTMO when devising strategies, realising the company's vision and
discovering new possibilities in the forex markets.

Thanks to Otakar Šuffner and Marek Vašíček, FTMO clients around the
world have earned more than 4.5 billion crowns.
