We supported the 13th Junior Science Conference
A lecture about hamsters and, instead of a coffee break, a cocoa break. This year too the science conference for young talented natural scientists took place, and we supported it through our Neuron Junior project.
Over two days, participants in the Junior Science Conference 2024 competed with their talks in three age categories. The subjects of their papers were varied — from geography and geology to human biology and astronomy. The young scientists thus received important feedback across disciplines and could broaden their own knowledge.
We have been following and supporting the Junior Science Conference for many years. This year too we were pleased to meet familiar faces among the young presenters. It is precisely this enthusiasm of the coming generations and their unflagging desire to learn that shows us why supporting the young in science matters so much.
Support for the Junior Science Conference falls under the Neuron Junior pillar, through which the Neuron Foundation helps beginning scientists among pupils and students. The conference's aim is to offer them an unforgettable experience of the world of science and to awaken in them a passion for further study of science and technology.
Every year the Neuron Foundation selects one participant at the Junior Science Conference whose scientific dream it will make come true. This year was no exception and we are already looking forward to announcing the youngest member of our neuron network.
