Neuron supports the 11th Junior Science Conference

Through its Neuron Junior programme, the Neuron Foundation is again a partner of the Junior Science Conference. The event, organised by the Faculty of Science of Charles University, is intended for children and young people aged 10 to 19 who are interested in science and not afraid to test themselves.

Besides supporting the conference financially, Neuron will connect the most capable participant or participants with the best Czech scientists — Neuron Award laureates and other outstanding names working at research institutions in the Czech Republic.

The 11th Junior Science Conference takes place on 21–22 October 2022 in Prague. The conference has capacity for 50 participants, who will be selected by an expert committee from all those registered on the basis of the abstract submitted. A presenter may be an individual or a team of two.

The subjects are scientific or technical topics in the sections Earth Sciences (geography, geology, mineralogy, palaeontology and others), Living Nature (biology, zoology, anthropology, botany, ecology and others), The Human Body and Medicine (anatomy, toxicology, physiology, medicines, pharmacology and others), Chemical and Physical Magic (chemical or physical phenomena and experiments and others) and Hi-tech (technology, computers, space flight, astronomy and others).
