The 2016 Neuron Award for contribution to world science

Scientific merit on a world scale, personal integrity, courage and selfless conduct towards those around them and towards younger generations. This year again we honoured Czech scientists who have left an indelible mark on their fields. During the gala evening, held on Thursday 24 November, nine young talented scientists also received Neuron Impuls grants totalling CZK 6,500,000 for research projects.
